The owner / manager deserves to do well but may need to have a training session with staff. Still not that friendly and welcoming..... These people are the face of your business and they are letting you down. ______________________________________ *** (Prev 3 star review) Previously been so happy with food/service here (always slow but food quality rendered that more acceptable). Haven't left a positive review (which I accept we should have done) but on two occasions we have telephoned to say how exceptionaly lovely the food was. Tonight however we don't feel the same. We phoned over our order at 6.45 hoping this would help with the wait time and was told to come for 7.15. Turned up at 7.10 to pay for order. At 7.20pm I heard the man cooking say he hadn't started cooking the chicken burger on our order. Realised then it would be a longer wait but they were busy so one of those things. They then nearly missed an item from our order...but did get it when I realised when she recalled the order. At home...The fish was cold (lovely batter though) curry sauce really cold but we nuked that so that was fine and chips so overcooked. Really too crispy. Overall a really mediocre meal which was a real surprise compared to previous visits. Staff had no friendliness at all.. No smiles or apologies... Actually quite intimidating. Hopefully just a blip but reluctant to go back.
